How to choose and use pendulums

There are so many different types of pendulums to be found on the world wide web, that a person has plenty of options for finding one that meets his or her needs. Pendulums come in different shapes and are made with a large variety of things. The pendulums with the strongest energies tend to be the gemstone pendulums. Next best, are the metal pendulums, like copper spiral pendulums. Wooden pendulums are not the best choice because their energy is lower and since they are lighter in weight may not have as good of a swing to them. Different gemstones offer different energies, so think about what area you need guidence in and choose your pendulum material based on that. A good wide-range use pendulum material is crystal quartz.

A pendulum can be used in different ways. You can use the pendulum to draw out negative energy and balance yourself. To do so hold out the pendulum chain and think about your negative energy passing through your arm, then your hand, then your finger, down the chain, and into the pendulum. If you don't really have the time to sit down and have a session but need to clear negativity from yourself, you can also find pendulums that can be worn as a necklace so you will have it available on the go. The most popular use for pendulums is of course divination. The easiest method of devination is make sure you are calm and hold out your pendulum. Ask it to show you which direction means yes, and which direction means no. Then ask yes or no questions. If the pendulum swings in a direction that does not mean yes or no, that could indicate that you need to concentrate more or that the answer is simply undecided. You need to ask which direction means what before every session in case energies have changed. With me, counterclockwise tends to be no, clockwise tends to be yes, and a straight line tends to mean maybe. Different people have different energies though, so results will vary.
